Melissa and Brad first met back at college while attending James Madison University in October of 2015. They were out at a bar with mutual friends and found out they were from neighboring towns back home in New Jersey! What a small world! After almost 5 years, they were on a walk with their dogs talking about the future when Brad got down on one knee and popped the question!

They got married on, August 5, 2022, at The Hamilton Manor in Hamilton Township, NJ followed by their reception!

All About the Custom Wedding Invitation Suite

One of my friend’s from college (who I designed her wedding suite for), put Melissa in touch with me when she found out she was looking for an invitation design! I am so thankful for word of mouth! We hit it off so well and just after a few emails back and forth, I knew exactly what I was going to design for Melissa and Brad’s wedding suite! The words “delicate” and “feminine” kept coming to mind. Melissa shared with me her floral arrangements and bridesmaid dress colors and I was able to use that for the inspiration behind the suite.

Melissa selected a Custom Wedding Suite that comes with two detail cards. For the second one, she was a little stumped on what to do since we were able to get all the accommodation information on the first card. I suggested a love story map! Their story is so sweet and really worth telling to the world! I went to work illustrating the highlights of their relationship like where they first met, where they got engaged and where their wedding will be held! It is not only a great, personal addition to their wedding suite but also a beautiful keepsake to share with their grandkids one day!

Melissa and Brad were one of my clients who were unfortunately affected by the paper shortage. The envelope colors we initially decided on, were no longer available at the time of ordering. I worked quickly securing alternative envelopes, and honestly, I love the color selection even more than the original! Their suite is filled with beautiful neutrals and delicate wildflower florals, matching exactly what they had it mind for their day! It was such a pleasure to work with them both and I am so beyond thankful for my friend putting my name out there to them! I cannot wait to see the photos of their big day!
