Discover why clients call me their favorite vendor (!!) and glimpse inside Suite Scape’s signature artistic approach to crafting fine art wedding invitations.
Most couples reserve their slot when they are approximately ten months out from their wedding. We officially begin the design process when we are six months away from your wedding to ensure we have the proper time to design your invitation suite, make any changes or further customizations, and, of course, send your invites to your guests.
If you are closer to your wedding than six months, you are invited to contact me about your date, but I encourage you to plan ahead as much as possible when it comes to your stationery suite. I often book out as far as a year in advance!
Although each Signature Suite can vary depending on the number of invites, customizations, or modifications, the design and production process are approximately six weeks respectively, meaning we’ll spend about three months total on the entirety of the process. Mailing will commence once this process is completed in full.
When you book with Suite Scape, you will not have to choose embellishments or upgraded print methods right away. That’s because I design your invitations first and then only then do I invite you to select your preferences when it comes to elements like vellum wraps, wax seals, or velvet ribbons. At time of booking, you will receive your Welcome Box including samples so you can see for yourself which embellishments and paper products you prefer. I will then mock up your design with your desired elements. You’ll have the opportunity to see your entire designed invitation suite before selecting your desired embellishments!
Of course! Once your attire is finalized, I ask my couples to send me the designer, fabric, and color so I can order a swatch that I will use when color-matching envelopes, ribbon, wax seals, and any additional embellishments.
Yes! Upon booking, you will receive a Welcome Box via mail that includes samples of the paper, print, and embellishments I offer. This will allow you to see for yourself the quality of my invitation suites and the possibilities when it comes to paper, printing processes, and more! When we have our design consultation, we will discuss the options available to you, while you have the samples in hand. Although we are communicating virtually, having the Welcome Box during our consultation will make the experience far more tangible. You can be sure your invitations will be consistent in quality and approach before we even officially begin. It’s like stepping into a letterpress studio!
At the beginning of our process, you’ll create a Pinterest board with your color scheme, florals, decor, attire, and other elements. This, along with your intake questionnaire and consultation, will provide me with a view into your vision. During our design consultation, we will discuss what you have shared and further elaborate on any preferences to ensure we are entirely on the same page before designing anything. You will also have the opportunity to review mock ups, request modifications, and discover which embellishments you would prefer as part of your invitation suite.
