Melanie, Tyler, I hit it off from the very first consultation! And no wonder, they are high school sweethearts who love the shore, just like Joe and I!
Melanie and Tyler met in their high school history class. Tyler asked Melanie to junior prom with a puzzle, different people handed Melanie puzzle pieces throughout the day, ending with Tyler having the last piece. If their school had a contest for best promposal, Tyler would have won!!
They’re first date was picking out his tie followed by a bite to eat at Applebee’s, the perfect high school date!
Being high school sweethearts, you practically grow up together. Go through the ups and downs of college, figuring out your careers together and what the future holds. On May 18, 2020, on Melanie and Tyler’s 8-year anniversary, Tyler got down on one knee at the beach and proposed, this time, it wasn’t for prom!
Melanie and Tyler got married on September 1, 2022 at The Mill Lakeside Manor.
They are most looking forward to continuing to build their life together and starting a family following their wedding!
Like I said before, Melanie, Tyler, and I hit it off during our phone consultation. They were such an amazing couple, with a sweet story and I was so thankful they asked me to be a part of their big day.
For the invitations, Melanie really wanted a Cabernet envelope color and a custom wedding crest. Once we started the design process, they came to realize using the Cabernet for both envelopes made it a little dark and too fall for their Labor Day Weekend wedding. I suggested pairing the larger envelope with a lighter, pinky-beige RSVP envelope to tie in some of the other colors they were planning on using in the florals! This addition lightened up the entire suite and it felt more cohesive with the wedding Melanie and Tyler had in mind!
We also added a GORGEOUS watercolor envelope liner of the grounds at The Mill, featuring the lake, the mill, the back of the venue, and of course, their signature swans! This paired with the custom monogram made the suite uniquely theirs.
After getting the pictures in from the photographer, their invitations matched the day they had envisioned to a T. It perfectly complemented their venue, color scheme, and overall aesthetic of their day!
I wish them nothing but the best and I am so lucky to have been a part of their love story. Melanie is a bride I know I will always keep in contact with and I am very thankful for the love and support she gives me!
